_*BOOK REVIEW ---2 of 7*_
*Topic: BETWEEN SPIRITUALITY AND MATERIALISM*
*THE AUTHOR AND MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD*
Mustapha Mush-hur ( the standard and recognised spelling is, Mustafa Mushhur) is a leader per excellent, a revolutionist, a teacher and a liberator who was brought up in Egypt. It is sadden that one of the scholars that they have their history distorted or not properly documented is Mustafa Mushhur.
Mustafa Mashhur was born in 1921 and died in November 14, 2002 at 81 years. According to history, he was the fifth General Guide (leader) of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic movement in Egypt from 1996 until 2002 that he died.
During the ten years administration of his precedessor, Muhammad Hamid Abu al-Nasr, he played a major role in actualizing the objective of Muslim Brotherhood. Mustafa Mushhur was then the former leaders of the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ikhwan.
In 1995, Mashhur published “Jihad Is the Way”, the last part of a five-volume work titled “The Laws of Da’wa.” I strongly recommend the book for every caller. He also have other paper work credited to him. May God grant him Al -Jana Firdaus!
*Muslim Brotherhood Movement:*
Muslims, I mean discerning one all over the world know 'Muslim Brotherhood' as a well structured Jihadi movement whose ultimate goal is to subjugate the world under the dictate of Allah and His prophet (Sharia law) through "Jihad." The official motto of the Muslim Brotherhood makes this explicitly clear:
"Allah is our objective.
The Prophet is our leader.
The Quran is our law.
Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah
is our highest hope."
It is right to say that 'Muslim Brotherhood' is the oldest and largest Islamic movement that came into being as a result of turmoil experienced and still experiencing in the 19's in Egypt. In fact, some movements in other part of the countries today are tailed to represent them.
The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in March, 1928 by Hassan al-Banna, an Egyptian school teacher. Without doubt, the movement has raised and still raising the flag of Islam. Souls have been sacrificed to establish on earth the law of Allah. Muslim Brotherhood until recently remains a strong political movement in Egypt. MB projected Muhammad Morsi in 2012 as a Democratic candidate for President whose candidature was welcomed by all and sundry and he won.
However, he was overthrown by coup led by e-Sisi and his running mate. He was sent to jail and nothing less than 800 civilians died during the process. Yet, Muslim Brotherhood remain firm and focus. It seems nothing can debar them from establishing on it the law of Allah.
My brethren, I will stop here on the author and the Muslim Brotherhood. The concept of Muslim Brotherhood will further broaden your knowledge on the necessity of the book under review. It is my sincere hope and prayer that the book marks a turning point in our life!
