*******Episode Seven*******
A week later Kimberly was flew out of the
country for her heart
disease treatment

Jane was on the sitting room having a serious
discussion with her husband concerning April’s
health.
Jane: ”Honey am still really confuse about this
April’s health”
Michael: ”If I say I myself am not confuse that
means am the
biggest liar on planet earth.”
Jane: ”April has been sick for the past one week
and the doctors have not been able to diagnosed
her with any ailment”
Michael: ”The most annoying part is that the
doctors said that April is suffering from
something Spiritual”
Jane: ”I think the doctors might be right”
Michael: ”Why do you say that?” looking at his
wife with a raise eyebrow
Jane: ”Since the doctors could not diagnosed
April with any ailment
that simply means her sickness is spiritual not
physical and that
means we really need to see a pastor”
Michael: ”I don’t think taking April to a man of
God is necessary”
Jane: ”Can you please give me a reason for
saying that?”
Michael: ”I don’t have a reason for saying that
but all I know is that there is nothing wrong with
my daughter spiritually” (he doesn’t like pastor.
Not that he doesn’t believe in God.)
Jane: ”How can you say there is nothing wrong
with you daughter
spiritually when the doctors were not able to
diagnose April with
any ailment?”
Michael: ”That doesn’t mean she has any
spiritual problem”
Jane: ”Is there anything you are not telling me
or hiding from me?”
Michael: ”Why are you even saying that am
hiding something
from you?”
Jane: ”If you are not hiding anything from me
then you would
have allowed us to see a man of God”
Michael: ”I don’t want us to see a man of
because I know there
is nothing wrong with April spiritually and not
because am hiding anything from you”
Jane: ”Okay I have hear you but if anything bad
happen to my daughter you are really going to
get it from me”(standing up)
Michael: ”Nothing is going to happen to April, if I
see by the
end of this week that April’s health didn’t
improve, I promise to take her to a man of God
personally” (giving her assuring look)
Jane: ”That sounds fair enough” (with that said
she walked out of the living room)

Some days later Helen and Kimberly just arrived
at Airport of Kano state after Kimberly has been
treated. Edward couldn’t hide the joy and happiness on
his face when he went to pick them up at the
airport on Saturday
Edward: ”Welcome back dear”
Helen: ”Thanks love. It feels so good to be back
in Nigeria knowing fully well that what took me
out of the country was a success” (hugging her
husband)
Edward: ”I don’t think you are as happy as I am
that my jewel is
now hale and healthy and I also give God as the
thank and praise”
Helen: ”We really need to thank God and since
tomorrow is Sunday
we are going to church for thanks giving”
Edward: ”Dear how did you know exactly what I
was thinking?”
Helen: ”You know we have been married for
more than ten Years
and that makes us to think alike sometimes”
Edward: ”You are really funny. Hop into the car
so that I will drive you home”

Michael: ”Did I not tell you that there is nothing
wrong with
April?”
Jane: ”Yes you said so but I was really scared
when the doctors
couldn’t diagnosed April with any ailment that
was why I said we
should seek help from a man of God”
Michael: ”Well as you can see now there is no
need for that since April is already healthy”
Jane: ”Honey I still insist we go see a man of
God”
Michael: ”What for again?”
Jane: ”Concerning April”
Michael: ”April is now hale and healthy so there
is no need for
that again”
Jane: ”There is every need for that. Don’t you
find it weird that April
fell sick and the doctors were not able to
diagnosed her with any
ailment then after a week and some days April
was mysteriously
healed”
Michael: ”She wasn’t mysteriously healed but
miraculously heal” (holding his anger at bay)
Jane: ”I don’t like the way you are not taking
this issue serious”
Michael: ”Am not talking it serious because I
know there is nothing wrong with April”
Jane: ”I still insist we see the man of God”
Michael: ”We are not seeing any man of God and
that’s final”
he delay and stormed out of the living room
angrily.

******Episode Eight******
15 Years Later
Kimberly and her best friend Elizabeth were both
coming back
from school chatting happily about what had
happen in school
and how their form master had discipline their
class bully when
suddenly two boys not any older than 20 came
out of
nowhere and snatched away their bags from
them. Both girls were scare the boys are going
to harass them when a boy about same age with
the thieves came to their rescue.
Rescuer: ”Give the girls back their bags now” (he
said in rather calm voice)
Boy1: ”We won’t and you can’t make us
to” (sound tough)
Rescuer: ”Am telling you boys to give them back their
bags now politely”
Boy2: ”And if we don’t what are you going to
do?” (stepping forward)
Rescuer: ”Then I will use force to collect the
bags from you” (reply the boy with confidence)
Boy2: ”i will like to see you try. We are two but
you are one and that simply mean we are going
to beat you black and blue”
Rescuer: ”You maybe two but that doesn’t give
you any guarantee
that you guys are going to beat me in a fight and
am telling you
for the last time to give the girls their bags and I
will let you boys
go in one peace.”
The boys refused to give the girls their bags and
that makes the
rescuer angry and he angrily gave one of the
boys two punches
on his jaw, the other tried to attack the rescuer
from behind but he got Shawn Michaels super
kick instead and with that the two
drop the bags they were holding and took to
their heels.
Liza: ”That will teach you guys a
lesson” (shouting after the the boys)
Kimberly gave her a ”are you serious look” and
turn to the rescuer
Kimberly: ”Thanks” smiling sheeply
Rescuer: ”You are welcome. Am John by name
and I hope you
don’t mind telling me your name?”
Liza: ”Not at all. Am Elizabeth but I prefer to be
called Liza or Bath. And this is my best friend
Kimberly.”
John: ”Nice names”
Kimberly: ”Thanks for coming to our aid once
again” she reply taking in his feature.. He is tall
about 6, well built, and a beautiful face with
breath taking eyes.
John: ”It was nothing and I also believe any
passerby would have
done exactly what I did for you”
Liza: ”Not everybody is as kind hearted like you”
John: ”Me coming to your aid doesn’t mean am
kind hearted being”
Liza: ”You may not be kind hearted but what you
did for us
today just made you our guiding angel”
John: ”You are funny but am no guiding angel”
Liza: ”If you say so” (snap Kimberly from her
day dreaming)
John: ”I can see you girls are coming back from
school, which
school do you girls attend if I may ask?”
Liza: ”We attend Divine daughter international
school”
John: ”I know that school and its not that far
from here but the
school is a girls only school right?”
Kimberly: ”Yes and which school did you attend?”
she managed to ask…
John: ”I attended Triumph Model College at
Ngure Road Nomansland but right now am in
level 200 in ABU Zaria studying
business admin”
Liza: ”I thought Triumph Model College is
located in Mahogany
Avenue Nomansland?”
John: ”Yes but the school has been relocated to
Nguru Road”
Liza: ”You said you were schooling in Zaria but
what are you doing
here in Kano?”
John: ”Yes and we are on holidays that’s why I
came home to spent some time with my mum.
Do you girls live close?”
Liza: ”Our house is not that far from here”
John: ”Okay let me work you girls home”
Kimberly: ”that won’t be necessary. Thanks
though”
John: ”Okay. If you say so… I guess i will be
seeing you girls around!”
Kimberly: ”Sure. Bye” drawing Liza with her as
she walk away.
John: ”bye” he muttered to himself.
Liza: ”isn’t he beautiful” Liza ask Kimberly as
they walk away.
Kimberly: ”hmm… Sure” trying to hide the
excitement in her voice unsuccessfully
Liza: ”Oh no.. She’s in love” she turn to look at
her friend who was all red.
Kimberly: ”No am not. Yeah he’s cute but am
not in love” walking away from her friend happily

April came back from school Moody. When she
entered into their room she met both are patents
in the living room
April: ”Good afternoon dad, good afternoon
mum”
Michael: ”Afternoon my dear”
Jane: ”Afternoon love. How was school today?”
April: ”It was fine mum”
Jane: ”If school was fine then why did you came
back home moody?”
April: ”Nothing mum”
Jane: ”Okay dear. Go in and change your food is
in the kitchen”
April said she was not hungry and entered the
bedroom to change.

*******Episode Nine*******
When April was out of sight Michael turn to his
wife and asked.
Michael: ”Do you have any idea as to what may
be wrong with
April?
Jane: ”I have no idea, we were both here when
she came back
from school moody”
Michael: ”We need to find out what is wrong
with her and you
are going to do that right away”
Jane: ”Why is it always me?”
Michael: ”Because you are her mother”
Jane: ”And are you not her father?”
Michael: ”Yes I am but we all know that girls
tend to open up to
their mothers more than their fathers and beside
there is
another reason”
Jane: ”And what other reason is that?”
Michael: ”It is your responsibility as her mother”
Jane: ”Fine. You win” standing and going to her
daughters room
Michael: ”Did you just accept that without an
argument?” *surprise*
Jane: ”Yes I did. I don’t have the strength for
any of our baseless
argument when our daughter came back home
with a long face” *muttered to herself*

April was lying on the bed thinking of how she
was going to pay her waec fee which the
registration was going to end three days from
that day when she heard footstep coming to the
bedroom and she didn’t need a soothsayer to tell
her that it was her mother that was coming to
the bedroom but she was not in the mood to talk
to anybody. Her mother walked into the bedroom
and sat down on the bed and started playing with
her hair.
Jane: ”My love what is wrong with you?”
April: ”Nothing mum am fine”
Jane: ”You don’t look fine to me and I am also
your mother I know
when you are happy or sad”
April: ”Seriously mum there is nothing wrong
with me”
Jane: ”I know its something, my dear you can
always talk to me
about anything. Tell me what is wrong with you
remember a
problem shared is a problem half solve”
April: ”It about our waec mum”
Jane: ”Is that what is wrong with you?”
April: ”Yes mum, our registration is going to end
three days from
now and I am the only one that is yet to pay and
our form master
said that I am going to pay N50,000 instead of
the N45,000 as a
result of late payment. I know things are very
hard for us that’s
why you people are yet to pay my waec fees for
me”
Jane: ”Don’t worry my dear I have good news for
you”
April: ”What is the good news”
Jane: ”Few hours before you came back from
school, Mr Ele who
has been owning your dad the sum of N70,000
for the past eight
months ad just paid your dad the money and we
plan on giving
you your waec fees tomorrow morning on your
way to school”
April: Wow: Really mum? *hugging her mum
excitely*
Jane: ”Yes my dear or have I ever joke with
anything this serious
before?” ***hugging her back***
April: ”No mum”
Jane: ”So cheer up my dear because you are
going to write your waec with your mate”
April: ”Thanks mum. You don’t know how happy I
am to hear this”
Jane: ”Am also happy that my love is happy
now”
April: ”You and dad are the best”
Jane: ”And you are the best thing that have ever
happen to us. You
can now go and eat since what has been
bothering you is now
solve”
April: ”Okay mum. I love you mum”
Jane: ”Love you more my dear”
