********Episode fourteen********
Frank didn’t know who was calling him and the
only way for him to know who the caller is, is by
answering the phone. Frank
picked the call but kept mute
Caller: ”Hello”
Frank: (the voice was familiar but he could not
remember where he heard it) ”Hi”
Caller: ”How are you?”
Frank: ”Am cool and you?
Caller: ”Am good. Do you know who you are
speaking with?”
Frank: ”No I don’t know, I plan on asking that
question but you beat me to it”
Caller: ”You are speaking with Liza”
Frank: ”Kimberly’s friend right?”
Liza: ”Yes, I just called to say hi”
Frank: ”Thanks for calling, I really do appreciate”
Liza: ”You are welcome. And I also called to
know if more about you, hope you don’t mind
telling me more about yourself?”
Frank: ”I don’t mind at all but am kinda of busy
now maybe I will
call you tomorrow and tell you more about
myself”
Liza: ”I will be expecting your call but bye for
now”
Frank: ”Bye dear” ending the call
Frank: (turning to John) ”That was Liza I talked
to on the phone but I really wish it was
Kimberly”
John: ”Wait a minute! Please don’t tell me you
were serious when
you said you were in love with Kimberly”
Frank: “Am serious bro am deeply in love with
her”
John: ”You are crazy Frank”
Frank: ”How does being in love makes me
crazy?”
John: ”Love doesn’t exit, I don’t believe in love”
Frank: ”You are only saying that because you
haven’t found love
yet”
John: ”That would never happen”
Frank: ”It will happen and yours would even be
love at first sight
just like Ferdinand and Miranda in Williams
Shakespeare’s The
tempest”
John: ”Love at first sight only happens in stories
and movies not in reality”
Frank: ”Listen John am going to remind you all
that you have said
when you fall in love”
John: ”That will never happen because love is
not in my dictionary”
Frank: ”Whatever. John I want to go and buy suya before it gets darker”
John: ”Okay dude buy mine when coming”
Frank: ”Is that all you are going to say?”
John: ”What do you want me to say again?”
Frank: ”Won’t you escort me to where they sell suya?”
John: ”Oh; sorry my bad, let me escort you ”

Michael was about to sleep when Jane brought
up the issue about
the Principal paying for April’s neco fees
Jane: ”Honey!”
Michael: (yawning) ”Yes dear”
Jane: ”Am worried”
Michael: ”About what?”
Jane: ”About the neco fees the principal paid for
April”
Michael: ”And what about it?”
Jane: ”I think the principal has another motive
for paying that Neco fee for April”
Michael: ”What other motive?”
Jane: ”I think the principal wants to have an
affair with my daughter that’s why he paid that
neco fees”
Michael: ”Jane not everybody in this world has a
bad motive in
doing something good for a person”
Jane: ”You might be right but I don’t want what
happen to me to
happen to April”
Michael: ”Dear not everybody is like your
everybody is like your
own Principal. I believe he paid the neco fees
out of good will”
Jane: ”I just hope you are right”
Jane is having a double mind
concerning the neco fee the principal paid for
April because when she was about the same age
with April, her principal paid her first term school
fees for her and she thought be was doing it out
of good will but little did she know that the
principal had another motive which was him
wanting to have an affair with her which she
refused and the principal made her stay in the
school a living hell for her. Now she is afraid
same thing is going to happen to her daughter

*******Episode Fifteen*******
Kimberly was in her room reading but she
couldn’t focus on the book she is reading
because all her thoughts were on John.
”Common Kim what is wrong with you?”
”How can you be thinking of a guy when your
waec is just around the corner?”
”John you are going to get it for
me if I fail my waec. Wait a minute! What is even
wrong with
me?”
”look at me threatening a guy as if he is
physically present here with me.
”Oh God! I think am loosing my mind but what I
don’t even understand is why I always loose my
voice any time am with him?” ”Liza said am in
love with him but I know am not because I can’t
be in love with a guy I just met a week ago or
could it be that I am trying to lie to myself or
denying the feeling I have for him?”
All these thought were still running through her mind
when her phone started to ring, drawing her from
her thought. she checked the caller ID but it was
an Unknow number calling her and leaving her to
wonder who could be calling her at that hour.
She wanted to ignore the call but she later
decided against it..
Kimberly: ”Hello”
Caller: ”Hi dear, how are you doing?” replied a
male voice
Kimberly: ”Am fine. Please who am I speaking
with”
Caller: ”You are speaking with John”
Kimberly: excited ”Oh! What a surprise!”
John: ”Why is it a surprise?”
Kimberly: ”It is s surprise because you collected
my number last
week but you never bother to call me until now”
John: ”Is not like that Kim, the thing is I have
been really busy since last week that’s why I
haven’t call you”
Kimberly: ”Okay I understand”
John: ”Hope I didn’t wake you up from sleep”
Kimberly: ”No you didn’t because I wasn’t asleep
when your call came in”
John: ”What are you still doing up by this time of
the night”
Kimberly: ”I was reading for my waec but I
couldn’t comprehend
anything all thanks to…” (she wanted to say
”You” but thought
against it)
John: ”All thanks to what?”
Kimberly: ”Nothing”
John: ”You said you couldn’t comprehend a thing
you were
reading but I can help you to comprehend what
you were reading by Being your tutor
Kimberly: ”That sounds good but I don’t think it
would be possible
because you will be going back to school very
soon”
John: ”Don’t worry about that because my school
are on strike and I don’t see them calling it off
soon”
Kimberly: ”That means we need to fix a time and
venue where you
are going to tutor me and Liza”
John: ”We will talk about that tomorrow but right
now I think I
need to marry my bed because my eyes are
heavy. Goodnight”
Kimberly: ”Goodnight and sweet dreams”
muttered sweetly as the call end.
Kimberly was really not happy when the call
ended because she
really enjoyed taking with John but now she has
to go to bed
since she has nothing doing

April was in the living to thinking how her future
is going to be, she didn’t know if she was going
to further her education or not because she
knows that are parents are poor, she knows how
hard it was for them to sponsor her through
primary and secondary school and she won’t
even blame them if they can’t
sponsor her university schooling. If not for Mr
Ele who paid her
dad the money he was owning him maybe she
wouldn’t have
even sit for this year waec but she was very
determine to further her education after her
waec.
April was still thinking when two ideas pop into
her head.
The first being for her to start working after
writing her waec then after she must have saved
enough she will then go back to school or she
was going to apply for a per time in that way she
will be able to work and school at the same
time.
When April checked
the time she found out that it was already late
late so she decided
to go to bed.
