weakly.. Make what?"..Mr. Gian asked... Just promise to do as I said"...She
interrupted weakly..
Alright if You say so,I promise to do as
you said"He replied...
Thank You"..She said more weakly in
voice and immediately her head went lower and she gave up the ghost....
Mr. Gian was confused...
Lucy!..Lucy!!...Lucy!!!!...He shouted as he
touched her and shake her...As he saw
nothing was happening he ran out calling
the doctor....Not minding the crowd he ran his way through...
Doctor!...Doctor!!!!!!!!!!.....He shouted as he
got hold of one of the doctors and
dragged him into the room where his wife
was laying...The doctor tried all he could
with the nurses with him but all to no avail....
He turned to Mr. Gian shaking his head
and said.."We lost her..."
No!!!...It can't be....He shouted crying as
he ran to his wife laying lifeless on the
white bed..He cried as the doctor consoled him once more and left with the
nurses..
As he wailed and cried,his eyes caught
with the lovely eyes of the baby on the
baby as she opened her eyes smiling...He
cleaned his tears and starred at the baby admiring her remembering the words of
his wife before her death..."PROMISE ME
YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF HER..."..He
remembered those words as he cleaned
his tears entirely and said to himself
looking at the baby.."I will surely take care of her..."..As he admired the baby
still lost in thought he took her up and the
clothe used to cover her fell off and
immediately he tried picking it up he saw
something unusual in the fingers of his
baby..He thought he was hallucinating so he picked up the clothe and looked closer
an saw a ring on her hands...
Holy Shit!!!..He shouted as he dropped
the baby in the cot and ran out to call the
doctor... :
IN THE CAVES OF WITCHES... Witch Khareem was in her court with her
evil clan chatted and making merriment
for their 2000 years victory over the clan
of Lord Zeus.... Few minutes into the
feast a great light
shone which made them to be frightened and in the middle of the light a loud voice
came saying "AND THE PROPHECIES
SHALL BE FULFILLED THAT ONE DAY A
MORTAL SHALL BEAR THE RING TO
DESTROY THE EVIL OF THE
WORLD.."After these words the light gradually went out...
Witch Khareem understood the
statement of the voice and immediately
she heard the cry of a baby in her ears
and she concluded.."The Chosen one
has been born..."...All the witches were confused and a little frightened at same
time....
It's high time we start working against it
before it becomes too late..... :
BACK AT THE HOSPITAL
Mr. Gian ran in with two doctors accompanied by Nurses into the room as
they experimented and investigated on
what really happened.."This has never
happened before"..One of the doctors
said...
It is absolutely impossible"..Another doctor said...
They tried all they could but the ring
could not be removed... Then one of the
doctors went to meet Mr.
Gian and said "The only option is to cut
her fingers..Don't be afraid she will get a surgical one that will last till she can grow
another finger as she is still young.."...
After several persuasions Mr. Gian
agreed to the doctors as they cut off the
fingers of the baby she cried aloud that
made Mr. Gian cover his ears...After much work they cleaned the blood and went to
prepare the surgical finger leaving the
baby in the cater of a nurse and Mr.
Gian..Immediately Mr. Gian went to look
at her a bright light shone on her fingers
and her finger regrew with the same ring on it..Mr. Gian was dumbfounded as he
could not even see the finger cut off and
put in the waste bin by the doctors
anymore....
Geez!!!!...What the hell???..He shouted
as the Nurse was alerted.. He looked at her and ran to call the
doctor..
The doctor arrived and could not believe
his eyes.....
"This can't be happening..."The doctor
said looking Confused....
