The doctor looked steadily at the baby as
Mr.
Gian also stood confused looking at the doctor…
After few minutes of silence,the doctor
broke
in…
“Maybe,we are hallucinating,let’s do it all
over again”..The doctor said..
Mr. Gian shook his head in corfirmation..
The doctor went through the process
once
more but after few minutes the hand
grew again with the same ring which shook the
doctor the more….
Both the doctor and Mr. Gian looked at
each
other confused…
“See me in my office..”The doctor said to Mr.
Gian….

doctor smiled at him and shook hands
with him..
As Mr. Gian moved closer to the door,the
doctor called him back…
“About your wife,am sorry..We will take

her..”Said the doctor.. “Thank You” was the only word Mr. Gian

think of using….. #Few Minutes Later… Mr. Gian took the child home where
himself,his wife and GrandFather
lived..But
now,his wife is no more….
He took the baby out of the other side of
the car,walked closer to the door still looking
at the
finger and the ring..He reached the door
and
knocked…
“who is it??”…GrandPa Zaius said from the
inside…
It is me Gian…..He replied..
Ohooohoo..Am coming..
Oopps,my glasses fell off,I can’t
see”..Cried Grandpa….
Whoophh..Sorry”Mr. Gian said…
Ooooh,Thank Goodness,I have found
it”Grandpa said as he opened the door….
Oooohhh…Oh My God,am now a
greatgrand father he rejoiced as he took th baby
from Mr.
Gian and danced into the house…
Mr. Gian weakingly walked in and fell on
the
cushion looking gloomy… After few minutes Grandpa recalled and
asked…Where is Lucy??
Tears rolled down from Mr. Gian’s eyes
as he
stood up…
Did I ask anything wrong?”Grandpa felt for
him…
No,Grandpa..Lucy is dead…
What????!!!Grandpa exclaimed as he
knelt
down..Ohhh,such a beauty and kindness has left
us so soon..May her soul rest in
Peace…Grandpa said as he kept the
baby and
walked to Mr. Gian consoling him…Mr.
Gian turned to his granpa ans said…
Lucy’s death is confusing,but what
confuses me
most is the ring on Ruth’s hand…

Oh,Ruth is the baby,that is the name Lucy told
me to give her..Gian answered…
What ring??..Grandpa asked as he lookd

at the fingers of Ruth and exclaimed..”It’s
golden”.. That is not the fact Grandpa..The fact is
that we
tried removing it even cut off her fingers
but
after cutting it,the fingers just grow up
again with the same ring within seconds…
Wow!!!!..That is amazing..Grandpa said
ignoring
the confusion in Gian’s eyes..He admired
the
ring and the baby then turned back and said…That should not bother you my
Son,it is a
gift to her from the God”Grandpa said but
still
it did not satisfy Gian’s confusion…
“I must get that ring out of her hand,even if it
means cutting off her entire hand…
People will
say my Wife is evil even the child..They
will say
evil about me and my family..”Mr. Gian thought in his mind as he looked at Ruth
and
GrandPa.. #Few_Nights_Later… Everyone was asleep after Gian has tried
all his
best to remove the ring but could not..He
concluded of killing the baby instead of
the
baby bringing evil names to his family he concluded…
He woke up in the night and walked to
where
the baby was laying took a knife to stab
her but
immediately the ring shone a very bright white
light and a voice came from within the

tried to stab the baby but the light shone

his eyes and a bolt of lightenening struck
his heart and he fell laying lifeless on the
floor
