The next morning,the day was bright and
lovely
as Grandpa woke up so early and prepared tea
just as usual..He looked at the time and
saw it
was past eight O’clock..He wondered why
his
grandson was not awake yet..Never mind”..grandson was not awake yet..Never mind”..He
said in his mind and went to wash his
mouth..
After washing his mouth,he came and
saw the
dinning table still looking as he left it..He then
decided to go and wake him up..He might
rather overslept due to his stress
yesterday”..He concluded as he walked
to
Gian’s room.He knocked severally on the door
but no response so he plaxed his ears on
the
door and listened but he heard only the
laugh
of the little baby echoing in the room… He
knocked more then opened the door
since no
one responded…
Immediately he opened the door,he
could not believe his eyes…He saw his grandson
laying
dead on the floor with a knofe in his hand
just
besides the baby’s cot…
He ran back to the bathroom to wash his face
well..”I might be dreaming..”So he said…
He washed his face and cleaned his
glasses very
well and went back to the room to see
what he saw before..Tears rolled down his eyes
as he
thought what he could be doing with a
knife..He
looked all over his body but could not see
a sign of blood or anything caused by a
knife so
he wondered the more….. #THE LAND OF THE DEAD… I pleaded with you to take care of her and
you
promised me so…Then why did you
wanted to
kill her..Now see what you have
done..You have left her all alone in that awful world at
this
young age in the arms of an old man that
can
not even see clearly”…Lucy wailed
looking furious…
Am sorry,but I thought she could bring
mockery to the family…Gian said…But
before
Lucy could say anything,an old man on all
shinning white robe with white beards and
white staff interrupted…
“You were warned,but you did not
listen….”The
man said…
What???”Exclaimed Lucy..And who are you and
what do yo know about this”..Lucy
interruptively asked….
“Well,let me introduce myself…I am Lord
Zeus
and also the voice that warned your husband
not to kill the baby but he did not listen..I
had
no choice than to kill him instead…”..Lord
Zeus
said.. What??..You mean You killed me…Gian
asked..
No,My Son,I did not kill you,I only
protected
the Chosen one”Zeus said touching his
beard.. “Chosen One??..What do you mean??”…
Lucy
asked..
“If you wish to know that child is chosen
by the
ancient Lord to defeat the evil witch and that is
why she has the ring..Only her can
remove that
ring from her hand..With the ring,the City
of
Zeutch will be saved….”Lord Zeus said.. You mean my daughter is going to be a
super
hero??”Lucy and Gian asked together…
But Zeus disappeared before they could
finish
the question… Gian and Lucy looked at each other
confused….. #BACK TO GIAN’S HOUSE… Grandpa Zaius carried the baby as he
later
found out that Gian died in the process of
wanting to kill the baby…He remembered
how
he felt about ring when he came home…. “I should have known..”He said in his
mind…
He took the child out and started taking
care of
her as he could in his best way…
Ruth grew up to be a beautiful Lady,full of
knowledge,talent and everything that
man
could think of…Grandpa Zaius never told
her
what killed her parents..If she asks him,he will
only say “They died after your birth..”…

her lack anything… His age became older but his strenght
